Nearly 60 Years of Helping Others
The Albert G. and Olive H. Schlink Foundation, established in 1966, began with funds Olive saved from grocery money. Its first grant was $500 to the Little Sisters of the Poor. Now managed by Hiltz, Wiedemann, Allton, and Koch Co., L.P.A. in Sandusky, Ohio, the Foundation has grown to award over $1.4 million in 2023 to more than 50 nonprofits. While rooted in supporting charities tied to the founders, it has expanded to address the evolving needs of community nonprofits in Erie and Huron counties, maintaining a focus on Ohio.
